This ring is inspired by the talismanic silver rings worn by the Harari women of eastern Ethiopia. With a geometrical shank and a towering stone, often a red carnelian, the ring symbolized power and was believed to ward off bad luck.
Not a carnelian but an Ethiopian opal, from the Welo province, has been used to grace this historical shank.
One-of-a-kind Welo opal ring with diamonds set in 14k polished yellow gold.
